The Support Services at Full Circle Funerals are focused on enabling partners of our funeral franchise to provide the best possible care to the people that they support.
It is important for all of our local funeral directors to be able to offer high quality care to those that need the services of an independent funeral parlour. The Support Services team is experienced in supporting families through the funeral planning process and now extend that support to the development of funeral franchisees.
Lots of people ask us how to become a funeral director – if you have questions like these the Support Services team can help. They can help you answer the question of whether you would like to become a funeral director and can advise you of the steps and training you might like to take to work in funeral care.
The support services team is based at our Guiseley funeral service. Sarah, Jade and Lucy all have experience in supporting people to arrange funerals and now provide support to the independent funeral directors in your local area.
Among other things, they are responsible for quality assurance, coordinating training and work experience and leading on research, in collaboration with academics and others with an interest in evidence-based funeral care.
The support services team work hard to try to get feedback from everyone who uses our services, so that we can continue to improve our understanding of what matters to people most and find ways to improve the way we support people.
If you have any thoughts about your local Full Circle service, you would like some information about becoming a funeral director or think it would be helpful to talk to one of us, please do get in touch via the Contact Us page.
Sarah previously worked as a doctor and then with adults with learning difficulties. She has a husband and two young children and enjoys exploring on foot and bicycle. She believes ardently that we would all benefit from speaking about death and dying more openly so that we are better able to support ourselves and our loved ones in life and death.
Jade has previously worked within administrative and finance positions and has similar responsibilities at Full Circle. She has a partner and one child and enjoys long dog walks and nights in. Jade believes that everyone should have the right funeral for them, whatever that may be.
After leaving university Lucy knew she wanted to go into funeral care. She joined Full Circle and now supports Sarah and Jade at the Head Office. Lucy is a fan of houseplants and her partner.
Helen has previous experience working in administration in forensics, but has also worked in various customer facing roles within the museums and retail sectors.
She enjoys reading, studying, and spending time with her horse.
